More signs of spring blooming in the garden - bluebonnets

As the days go by, the signs of spring in the garden evolve.  More daffodils are blooming everyday and the Japanese Quince is full of color.

Now I'm enjoying the emergence of the bluebonnets and the wonderful grape-scented Texas mountain laurels.

Ah, spring.

Are there signs of spring in your garden yet?

Not many signs here, yet. But, we've been pretty cold still.

Was so nice to finally meet you last Saturday. Good to put real faces to the bloggers I read.

Pictures of the Texas Mountain laurel?? :-)
I do love the Bluebonnets. It seems quite early for them.

Linda - I hear those in my garden might be the most I see because our lack of rain will make the show mediocre this year at best. They are in my cutting bed, so they get watered here.

Janet - Sadly iphoto crashed on me (Jeff says maybe it's my 15,000 pictures!) and I couldn't get it onto my computer. It's working now, but I am furiously working on a solution to reduce images!

Not much going on here unfortunately. It won't be long though.
